As the Lead Engineer for Fox, I was responsible for the design and management of hundreds of Solaris and OSF/1 servers (and a single, budding Linux server). The servers were used mainly for web, database, application, storage, and email, and serviced 60 million hits per day at sites like fox.com, foxnews.com, foxsports.com, and close to forty other sites.

Some of the most interesting projects also included work on interactive television and content syndication for over 30 partners. Together with companies like Stats Inc. and Sportsticker, the engineering team developed technology to bring sports scores from stadium to browser in under 60 seconds, and we helped pave the way for wireless applications together with Phone.Com and Sprint PCS.
